The Welsh tune "Ar Hyd Y Nos" is a well known tune, and sung to a wide variety of texts, with the most popular being the secular "All Through the Night". In our hymnal, two of the three texts are "God, that madest earth and heaven" and "Go, my children, with my blessing". Episode 1 is based on "God, that madest earth and heaven", and is a peaceful, meditative setting. Since "Go, my children, with my blessing" is normally sung at the end of the service, Episode 2 is set as a postlude, which can immediately follow the hymn. Both movements were written and recorded on a two manual instrument, and I hope both can add to your worship service!
