This joyful original work was composed for Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for my final month on the organ bench there. This is my musical tribute to all the beautiful, gentle, and inquisitive manatees I have experienced while kayaking in the Middle River in the city, when during the winter months these magical creatures are present. The word MANATEE is indicated by the rhythmic motive throughout the work, so you can spell this wonderful creature's name while you play it! Lol. While intended as a postlude, you could use it whenever some joyful rhythyms are needed! I hope you enjoy playing it!
