Product Description

For Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.

Derek Hasted writes "This very accessible arrangement has been a great success in Christmas concerts that I've organised"

Suitable for 4 guitars or for large ensemble, this arrangement has no page turns and yet captures the entire David Essex song including much of the charming oboe countermelody of the original. It's built around simple chord shapes that are straightforward and familiar to those with limited experience, and yet experienced players will enjoy the big and full sound that comes when the parts are fitted together.

This is ideal for a school concert, but an adult ensemble that has limited experience will also enjoy the way this piece fits tightly together to make rehearsing a much more rewarding experience.

This is one of a large and growing range of accessible ensembles from experienced arranger Derek Hasted, and is supplied as full score and parts. Derek's website at www.derek-hasted.co.uk/smp lists all his arrangements by title and by "number of instruments", with links to soundclips and sample score.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
