A beautiful, original Christmas song for vocal solo with piano accompaniment. Music by Kevin G. Pace. Text by Mary Ann Snowball. See text below:
Willingly,
When there went out a decree they went
To be taxed in cities where they spent
Their lives. From Nazareth they went.
Quietly,
Marys Baby was delivered there
In the city, Bethlehem, so rare.
Soon news of Jesus birth was shared!
Faithfully,
There were shepherds keeping watch, by
night,
Of their flocks of lambs until new light
Shone round about, and stunned their
sight.
Revrently,
An appointed angel came nearby
Saying "Fear not." A new Baby, nigh,
Will save the world and testify.
Suddenly,
There appeared a choir, singing praise:
In a manger the new Baby stays,
For peace will (well) keep throughout
our days.
Unto you is born, to adorn, this newborn
Child.
And youll find Him wrapped up in bands,
so meek and mild.
Gratefully,
The whole world now can sing along
Like the choirs did in their past songs
Pure peace will sound with heavnly throngs.
