The Road to Chancellorsville - for Concert Band
Grade 3
Conductor and Parts

A Civil War era styled march... The Road to Chancellorsville strives to capture the best elements of any good march: a tuneful melody and infectious beat. Beginning with two piccolos and percussion, The Road to Chancellorsville draws upon the march-style known as a "patrol" (the best-known being American Patrol) with the picture being painted in the listeners mind of the band approaching, marching by, and then going away.
