Product Description

This is the last movement of Gustav Mahlers "Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen" (Songs of a Wayfarer). Since this is originally for low voice with piano, I felt the need to keep the melody in the Trombone and the Horn. This piece was written by Mahler after his love affair with soprano Johanna Richter, which explains the text (also written by Mahler) and the sombre feel of this piece.
