Joe Snyder is a seasoned musician and educator who keeps a busy schedule as a performer, copyist, composer, arranger, editor, producer, and music director. After 17 years as a band director he went on to pursue a career in music that has spanned all aspects of the industry and led to collaborations with some of the top talent in the world of theatre, pop, and concert music including Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, Pete Townshend, Debbie Gibson, Melissa Etheridge, KT Tunstall, Tituss Burgess, Norm Lewis, LaChanze, Donnie Kehr, Michael Cerveris and, Huey Lewis Alex Brightman.
Since 2012 he has been the trombonist/arranger for The Path Fund's annual benefit concert "Rockers on Broadway". Other career highlights include orchestrating the national touring production The Greatest Piano Men as well as orchestrating the award-winning cabaret show With Love, Marilyn. He has also been commissioned to compose charts for the Tennessee, Ohio, South Carolina and New Mexico All-State Jazz Ensembles.
Currently he is an Instrumental Editor and Director of Concert Band Product Development for Hal Leonard and has served as the Production Manager and Editor for Wingert-Jones Publications as well as Instrumental Music Editor for J.W. Pepper & Son. His music is published with Hal Leonard, Wingert-Jones Publications, Kendor Music Publishing as well as independently through his own music production company CSS Music Service LLC.
