Product Description

"Silent Night" (German: "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht") is a popular Christmas carol, composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber to lyrics by Joseph Mohr in the small town of Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria. It was declared an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2011.

"Silent Night" (Originally: "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht" in German) is a popular Christmas carol, composed by F. Gruber in Salzburg, Austria. Here it is arranged for harp. It can be played on any harp with range B below the small C (C3) to F above the treble staff (B2-F5). The arrangement contains no lever changes.

You will find two versions of the basic theme (one with glissandos and one without) and two variations. Fingering suggestions are added to the arrangement. In the YouTube video I play the theme two times and then the second variation.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
