A very accessible, yet hip arrangement for your jazz combo (trumpet, tenor sax, trombone, piano, bass, drums). This arrangement of Thad Jones' well-known melody begins with a syncopated hook figure, leading way to a beautiful statement of the melody as played by your trumpeter or flugelhornist. Top trumpet note is a very modest G above the staff. Chord changes are provided in all parts for soloing. Piano part is staff and rhythmic notation only. Bass part is a combination of slashes and notated figures. While the score is in landscape layout, the parts are in portrait layout.
