This arrangement for a woodwind quintet of the third movement, "Scherzo," from Franz Schubert's String Quartet No. 14, "Death and the Maiden," is perfect for recitals, background dinner music gigs, weddings, educational outreach, and formal events. It was written for most advanced ensembles, from college groups to professional quintets. I have included an alternate bass clarinet part in lieu of a missing bassoon. Originally scored for strings, I hope you enjoy this unique transcription for winds.
