Jeux de means "a game for" and is written for any two instruments. It was a commission from the Auguste Tolbeque Conservatory of Music in Niort, France. The piece may be transposed as needed. I call this a "minimalist romp" that should be fun to play while presenting an intermediate challenge rhythmically. I can imagine using the element of space in the performing area and maybe moving several times during the performance. The duration is about 3'30.
