This work began as an intimate chamber work for ten double reed players and four percussionists. Along the way, other people wanted to participate so by the time of the premiere there were 120 double reed players (including rank beginners coached by older players), twenty percussionists and about thirty dancers. There is a clear explanation of the piece at the beginning of the score. The work could be performed by the original double reed and percussion ensemble as well as by the giant music and dance ensemble. In any case, the original choreography no longer exists. There are quite few spatially notated passages with cues given by the conductor for synchronized playing. The work was commissioned by the Conservatory of Music in Metz, France. The duration is 25 minutes. This is a manuscript score, thus the reduced price
