A sacred hymn composed by Kevin G. Pace for the Christmas season. Text by Mary Ann Snowball. See text below:
In a manger filled with hay, Gods own Child was placed.
Jesus was his sacred name, love shown in his face.
Born to grow from grace to grace, He learned from a boy.
Then He suffered pain with tears, offering true joy.
Chorus:
Come and adore. Oh, come and adore. This Baby has become our King.
Praises to Him we will sing.
To his manger filled with hay, all the world looked in.
Seeing perfect purity, He would save from sin.
Born to show each suffring soul triumph through his love,
Jesus Christ came to the earth from our God above.
From a manger filled with hay to his throne of grace,
Jesus, Savior of mankind, took his rightful place.
Born to live a perfect life, then to die for all,
Jesus, Savior of the world, answered Fathers call.
