Jesus said, Be not troubled,
Though fierce winds around you blow,
I am in the heavns above you,
And control all earth below.
In kindness often I spoke
With a gentle, quiet voice,
But many would not listen,
Nay, but made another choice.
Chorus:
Be not troubled; be not afraid,
The great day of the Lord will come.
Be of good cheer; God will prevail;
I am His Beloved Son.
I sent my faithful servants
With a message firm and clear,
Their ears the wicked deafened
And would not the prophets hear.
Now I speak with natures voice
Through thunder, both long and loud,
With lightening, hail, and earthquakes
Calling the mighty and the proud.
Perhaps now theyll listen to me,
Before it grows dark and late.
For the Day of My Coming,
The faithful do gladly wait.
I will be your Advocate,
To all those who heed my call,
I desire to share my love
With many souls, yea, even all.
