A joyful, sacred hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann Snowball. The text is based on scripture from the Book of Mormon found in Mosiah 15:29-30. See text below:
When the Lord shall bring again Zion, and all shall see eye to eye,
Know that God hath comforted us with his sure succor nearby.
When all watchmen lift up their voices with echoes joined as in song,
Know Gods work of rescue is nigh and days of waiting are gone.
Break forth into singing! Break forth into joy!
Sing together, Jerusalem, Gods win to enjoy.
Break forth into singing! Pure redemptions come.
Sing together, Jerusalem. Watchmens work is done!
When the Lord shall bring again Zion, and all cheer his holy name,
Know that signs in heaven display total assurance He came.
When all glory is finlly (?) displayed as singing bursts upon souls,
Know Gods capability rests in making each person whole.
Break forth into singing praises to his name!
Long awaited, Jerusalem, blessings now to claim.
Break forth into singing! Praise the Lord now viewed!
Sing together, Jerusalem. All things will be new!
