The glory of Christmas shines like a star,
Lending true sight from heaven afar,
Masking drear darkness all through the night,
Offering hope through Gods holy light.
The glory of Christmas came as a sign,
Showing the earth and all of mankind
Wonder of mercy, promising peace,
Granting a gift with Godly increase.
The glory of Christmas: Christ, our dear Lord!
Oh, how we feel the truth of each chord
As we sing anthems raised as one voice,
Honoring God with strains to rejoice.
O Glory! His glory shines for us now,
Staging the earth with grace to endow.
Gratitude rises high up above,
