Product Description
A beautiful Christmas song with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann Snowball. See text below:
Before the birth of Jesus Christ, In days of long ago,
Pronouncements made by cherubim To others surely show
Mere mortals can be frightened by Gods glory and his light.
But He sends peace into each heart. These words He does impart:
"Fear not. Fear not," sweet Mary heard; There was an angel near.
When Gabriel declared his news Her mind would be unclear.
For she was favored of her Lord; She knew not how to feel.
But soon she found Gods holy peace. This truth to her was real.
Then Joseph was awakened as Angelic dreams, so new,
Distilled upon his mind and heart The calm which Mary knew.
"Fear not to take her as thy wife" Were words he plainly heard.
Great peace became a constant aid; His soul was so assured.
The shepherds also heard these words: "Fear not. I bring you joy.
For unto you is born this day A royal Baby Boy."
When we perceive Gods holy words, For us it is the same:
The holy birth brings peace to all As we discern his name.
For He declares to us: "Fear not." For you the Savior came!
