Product Description

A beautiful, original, Christmas hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann Snowball below:

On the road to Bethlehem, Mary great with child,

Was the little family, walking many miles.

Out of Nazareth they went, up from Galilee.

With the throngs they made their way, plodding patiently.

Jewish custom called for all claiming residence

To ancestral homes report, so they meekly went.

Streets were crowded but the trek, prophesied before,

Witnessed that this "House of Bread" was the promised door.

Marys Baby would be born in this very town.

In a cave near animals she would lay him down.

And because the Passover came that very week,

Were reminded blatantly of the gift we seek.

On our road to Bethlehem, when our trek is long,

Crowded in our daily life will we, too, belong

To the Saviors family?  Will we choose his way?

On our road to Bethlehem He shows us the way.
