Product Description
Peter Gunn was written by Henry Mancini as the theme tune to the TV series of the same name in 1959. It was an instant hit and quickly gained a life of its own, winning Emmys and Grammys along the way. It has since been rerecorded by numerous artists as diverse as Jimi Hendrix and Aretha Franklin.
This version is a straightforward Saxophone Quartet arrangement scored for Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones. It suits players at an easy to intermediate standard and is guaranteed to be popular with young and old. Tenor part 3 in particular is written for beginners, while the Baritone player will require stamina and good breathing technique to keep the rhythmic momentum throughout.
The full score and all individual parts are combined in one PDF file. The overall performance time is a little over two minutes.
