He won an Emmy and two Grammy awards for the Peter Gunn soundtrack album, and the theme has been recorded by a huge number of musicians including the Blues Brothers, Aretha Franklin, Jimi Hendrix, and Duane Eddy. This arrangement for standard woodwind quintet is great fun to play, with the opportunity for a mini clarinet solo at the very end!
