Product Description

LOVE (The Prophet) for SATB choir and piano
On selected texts from Kahlil Gibrans book THE PROPHET
Duration: 8'45''
KAHLIL GIBRAN (1883 1931), Lebanese-American writers, poets and visual artists book The Prophet, (USA1923) is one of the best-selling books of all time, translated into more than 100 languages. This book has always had a deep impact on my imagination and inspired me to compose this piece in a melodious and tonal musical style with contemporary effects, attempting to follow the text as closely as possible in giving it a musical expression. This well known and loved unique text expresses an ecumenical spirit which renders it equally suited for a church or a secular concert.

The pdf file includes both full score and choir score
The mp3 file provided is exported from the sibelius score.
The composer is a member of TONO, the Norwegian Copyright org.
