Product Description

"The Glory of Love" is a popular song written by Billy Hill and recorded in 1936 by Benny Goodman. Goodman's version was a #1 pop hit. The song has been recorded by many artists. It was the signature theme of the movie, Guess Whos Coming to Dinner (1967), and was performed by Bette Midler in the movie, Beaches (1988). This arrangement is very effective on lever and pedal harp and uses jazz techniques including slap bass, lever and pedal slides, and lots of syncopation. It is perfect for recitals, receptions, and all public performances. This arrangement features many subtle nuances of Bette Midlers performance.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
