Program note:

I accidentally discovered that Sergei Prokofiev wrote a 20-movement work for solo piano called, "Visions Fugitives, opus 22." According to Wikipedia he wrote this collection "between 1915 and 1917, individually, many for specific friends of the composer."

I immediately decided that I should do my own version of these 20 movements under the same title, but altered to reflect the opus number in list of my works: "Vision Fugitives, Opus 252."

Like Prokofiev, I am dedicating each movement to a dear and important female friend in my life. Beginning, of course, with my wife and muse, Kristin Beckwith.
