Here is a flowing, richly harmonized version of The Huron Carol, as heard on my YouTube channel. Also known as "Twas in the Moon of Wintertime, this is of the most lovely and haunting Christmas carols and the oldest Canadian Christmas song. This arrangement features a detailed piano accompaniment, optional descants and choral harmonies, and a soaring key change into E flat minor from the start in D Minor. This version is in the original key to match the recording on YouTube, and has a melody range of C4-Bb4, a comfortable range for most congregations. For a version in a higher or lower key to match a different vocal range just write to me and I will publish it for you.
I hope this brings some extra Christmas wonder to your upcoming church service or holiday concert, whether it is sung by a soloist or by the whole congregation.
Also available, by searching "Stacey Plays Hymns" and the song title on this site is a version with a reasonably simplified piano accompaniment, more within reach of someone who has to learn this song last minute. This version that you're looking at though is the exact transcripton of the version I recorded, suitable for a fairly high level pianist.
