Here is a higher key, soprano version of the full piano-vocal performance of "Oh Wondrous Image, Vision Fair", as heard on my YouTube channel. This gorgeous, flowing piano arrangement features complex yet intuitive rhythms in 12/8, as well as the optional descant harmonizations as heard in my recording. This song is often used in the time after Epiphany and around Christmas, but most especially during the Sunday of the Transfiguration. It makes for a beautiful solo all year long, if you like soaring Celtic melodies woven around ancient hymn lyrics. These are the lyrics as found in the Lutheran ELW hymnal, translated by John Mason Neale. Also available by searching my name or clicking on it below is a version in the lower key of A Minor to match my original recording, or one in C minor to match most hymnals.
