Product Description

The Music for the Royal Fireworks (HWV 351) is a five-movement orchestral suite in D major by George Frideric Handel and is one of his most popular works. It was commissioned by King George II as festive music for the fireworks celebrating the Peace of Aachen.
Originally composed only for wind instruments, Handel later added strings. This is how the various instrumental groups were created: Woodwinds, horns, trumpets + timpani and strings.

I have tried to depict these instrumental groups in this arrangement for recorder orchestra.

Instrumentation: sopranino recorder, 3 soprano recorders, 3 alto recorders, 5 tenor recorders, bass recorder, great bass recorder, 2 sub-bass recorders, timpani
