Winterstürme (Winter Storms) is a waltz in Viennese style by Austrian military bandmaster Julius Fučík, who is much more known as an Austrian-Bohemian king of marches. But he composed all kind of that fine dance music for orchestra of his time and completed more than 400 pieces. The arrangement is kept in the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra and was commissioned and first time performed by Mozarteum Wind Philharmonic Salzburg conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their "Three Kings' Concert" on 6 January 2019 in the "Grosses Festspielhaus" (Large Festival Hall) in Salzburg, Austria and broadcasted live by Austrian television.
