Product Description

'Happy Ending' is the score for the grand finale of Disney's animated classic, The Little Mermaid (1989). The ending sequence of the film pays tribute to the Disney classics which came before it, complete with a Disney chorus singing a final reprise of Part of Your World. 'Happy Ending' makes extensive use of musical motifs from Part of Your World, while also including Daughters of Triton and Les Poissons. The Little Mermaid (1989) score garnered Alan Menken his first 2 Academy Awards (best original score and best original song), with many more Oscar winnings to follow.

This arrangement for solo piano is a reduction of the full orchestra, and is suited for intermediate pianists. Chords are marked throughout, and the ending section with a chorus includes a separate staff for the vocal melody and lyrics. This arrangement includes some extended versions of certain themes - making it more comprehensive to play as a solo on the piano. An additional staff with cue notes for the Flute parts is shown on measures 3 & 4 (for reference).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
