This work was originally intended for the duo of Nancy Knowles (composer and vocalist) and Frank Wallace (guitarist and vocalist). Inspired by a chant melody and text, Nancy created the text for this six movement work. I composed all of the music. In order to make the piece available to instrumentalists, I have recast it for English Horn, Bassoon and Guitar. Between Light and Dark, The Spirit Dances Duration: 26'. Year of Composition: 2006
