The beloved ballad from "The Sound of Music," named for the small, white flower that blooms all over the Alps. Although often mistaken as a traditional Austrian folksong, "Edelweiß" is original to Rogers and Hammerstein. It is first presented as a ballad, and then as a waltz, much as it is in the musical and film. Arranged for German band. (Tenorhorn = baritone in Bb).
