Derek Hasted writes "Adolphe Adam wrote this well-known piece in 1843, and it has proved particularly popular with singers including Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Josh Groban, to name but a few.

My arrangement uses well-known chord shapes and puts a countermelody underneath the tune to provide a richer harmony and to help the long notes to stay with the listener.

I have left the top part unfingered, as different players may wish to stay up the neck, or just visit the higher positions for the highest notes - you can choose...
