Product Description

This piano miniature was inspired by the set of six stained glass windows designed by John Piper, at St. Andrew's Church, Plymouth. The work attempts to evoke the extraordinary colour of the windows in two statements of a 4-part added-note harmony chorale, which is slightly varied the second time. The conclusion is a series of four further 'mystical' chords, before fading away. The piece is accessible for the listener and can be performed by most pianists, from mid-grade students to professionals.
