This is the score of William Hawley's A Song For St. Cecilia's Day, which sets the text of John Dryden's poem (1687). The work is for unaccompanied SSAATTBB voices, and was commissioned by Michael Paine for the New London Singers, Ivor Setterfield, Director, in the year 2000. The world Premiere took place in private performance in London on St. Cecilia's Day of that year. The audio clip is the complete Composer's Demo of the work.
