Product Description
This is the Vocal Score, with Piano Reduction, of William Hawley's "Make Me Thy Lyre", for SSAATTBB Chorus and Chamber Orchestra, setting the final stanza of Ode to The West Wind by Percy Bysshe Shelley (1820), with permission to download, print, and photocopy as many copies as are deemed necessary for the conductor, rehearsal pianist, and chorus for rehearsal and performance. The work was commissioned by The University of Arizona School Of Music, to be premiered during the U of A Choral Conducting Institute, June 13-15, 2007, Dr. Bruce Chamberlain, Director. The Institute was cancelled that year, however, thus the work was not premiered. The audio clip is the complete Composer's Demo. The Full Score and Set of Orchestral Parts are also available for download at SMP Press. Performance duration: 6 1/2 minutes. ASCAP https://williamhawley.net
