Product Description
This is the Single Chorus Version (SSAATTBB) of William Hawley's Flos ut Rosa Floruit, for unaccompanied Double Chorus (SSAATTBB/SSAATTBB), his setting of the anonymous 13th Century Florentine Marian poem, in the original Latin, the score of which is also available at SMP Press. The work was commissioned by the University of Utah Singers, Dr. Brady R. Allred, Conductor, and was premiered by them in Tours, France in May, 2005, winning the Grand Prix, "Oeuvre de Création" du Concours International de Chant Choral, Florilège Vocal de Tours.
