The art song (romance) "I wait for thee" («Я жду тебя») (Op. 14, No. 1) was composed by Sergei RACHMANINOFF (1873 1943) in 1894. In present edition the Russian lyrics by Maria DAVIDOVA with transliteration and English translation are inserted into the score.

The romance is available in the key of E flat major (Bb3 Ab5) for low voice.
