Eric Satie's famous Gymnopedie is written in a slow and transparent manner. 
This is ideal to be transcribed for guitar, being not too difficult as no fast passages or heavy chords need to be managed.
The subtleness comes out very well on the guitar.
The original composition is in D major. I chose as the key E major to allow open strings to sound longer out and also making it easier for the left hand.
