Antonio Lotti (5 January 1667 5 January 1740) was an Italian Baroque Composer who wrote several settings of The CruciFixus, the 8 voice being the most popular.

The blend of trombones of 10 is equality conducive to this piece written for voice. It is very playable for moderatly experienced players and would be a great addition to any concert, recital or as a contest piece.

The setting of this piece as typical of Lottiss work build harmonically throughout, beautifully resolving on the last note.
