Product Description

Antonio Lotti (5 January 1667 5 January 1740) was an Italian Baroque Composer who wrote several settings of The CruciFixus, the 8 voice being the most popular.

This 6 voice version is lesser known but equally harmonious. Set for 2 Flueglehorns, 2 Horns and 2 Trombones, this arrangement is very playable for moderatly experienced players and would be a great addition to any concert, recital or as a contest piece.

The setting of this piece as typical of Lottiss work build harmonically throughout, beautifully resolving on the last note.
