This mixed level, 1 piano, 4-hands duet arrangement of the well-known bell carol ("Carol of the Bells") is designed for a beginning student to play the PRIMO while the teacher or an intermediate student plays the SECONDO. All notes in the PRIMO are played singly with the hands in one position centered around middle C and then played one octave higher. The score is written in the key of G major giving the PRIMO practice playing an F# in the right hand.

This upbeat, catchy tune by Mykola Leontovich is a fun piece to learn and especially fitting for a recital during the holiday season.
