Product Description

This classic sacred song from the late 1800s is arranged as an instrumental trio (for violin and cello with piano accompaniment). All notes for both the violin and cello parts are playable in the first position (cello with an extended fourth finger on a few of the notes) making this piece suitable for late beginners to early intermediate students. Ranges are as follows: VIOLIN first F# above middle C to the second A above (F#4 to A5); CELLO second B below middle C to the first D above (B2 to D4).

This is a straight-forward arrangement with the VIOLIN playing the melody throughout. The arrangement proceeds though one verse of the song, but includes a repeat if a longer piece is needed. The purchase price includes a 4-page combined score with all parts on each page plus separate scores for the CELLO and VIOLIN (1 page each) and a PIANO only score (3 pages).
