"Hymn To Freedom" is one of Oscar Peterson's (1925 - 2007) most well-known compositions. This anthem from the civil rights era blends Peterson's Jazz sensibilities with Gospel and R&B flavours and was influenced and inspired by the hymns and spirituals of his childhood in Montreal. This arrangement for Clarinet Quartet is sure to add some contemporary flair to a traditionally classical ensemble.
