This version of La Tortuga y La Liebre (The Tortoise & the Hare) uses excerpts from Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (No. 14 in C# minor) to tell Aesop's classic fable of The Tortoise & the Hare. The Tortoise is represented by the slow melodies from the first movement and the Hare is portrayed by music from the quick and intense third movement. It's a fun piece and works great in family-friendly programs. 

The text is included in the score -- in addition to a separate narrator's script in Spanish. The piece runs approximately 4 minutes.
