Product Description

If youre looking for a piece thats beautiful yet simple, this arrangement of Gymnopédie No. 1 is for you. The slow-moving melody, balanced out by the sustained left-hand notes, creates such a soothing, melancholic atmosphere.

Difficulty Level and Skills Required: Late-Beginner. The right hand consists of three-finger chords and a slow moving melody line. The left hand has 1-2 notes per measure, often played with only the 2nd finger. Compared to the intermediate levels, this version is simplified quite a bit with less notes and no lever changes.

Type of Harp: For big and small harps, 22 strings (C-C) or larger.

Range: Lowest note is D below middle C, highest note is A one and a half octaves above middle C.

Levers/Pedals: In the key of D major (F#s and C#s needed). No lever changes.

TO NOTE: We also have Mid-Intermediate and Late-Intermediate arrangements of this song available.
