Product Description

This traditional piece was composed by Jean-Philippe Rameau.  It has been arranged here for beginner orchestral string ensembles.   This piece has been changed to MINOR to give it a creepy and sad feeling.  Perfect for Halloween performances.  It is also a great instructional tool to educate kids about counterpoint/ harmony and musical structure.  It starts with both lines in unison to help students adapt to each other in a group setting. Midway through the piece breaks into a round to teach about harmony and structure.

This composition is intended for beginner orchestral string ensembles.  The score, viola 1+2, violin 1+2, can be purchased separately.  All parts contain both lines of music and can stand on their own.  (example: a group of cellos will only need this file).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
