Product Description

"Washington Square", written by Cole Porter, E. Ray Goetz, and Melville Gideon, is a delightfully cheerful "young couple setting up housekeeping together" song.  Written in 1920, the music is credited to Melville Gideon, but I can at least imagine the early hand of Cole Porter at work in the melodies.  Lead duties are split across trumpets, horn, and trombone. Arranged for brass quintet (two Bb trumpets, French horn, trombone, tuba) and optional drum set.  Includes world parts (horn in Eb, trombone in Bb TC, tuba in Eb TC, and tuba in Bb TC).  Performance time is approximately 2:01.  Visit our website, www.tootsuitebrasspublishing.com, for a catalog of our arrangements available through sheetmusicplus.com.
