Product Description

The composer picked this poem from his fathers 80-year old poem book THE GOLDEN TREASURY (edited by Oscar Williams) and the composer immediately wrote the song just after seeing Campions famous poem. This antique text is paired with homophonic, but charming melody that were sung by soprano, bass, or solo in an alternate fashion. According to the structure of poem, the music also contains two verses, but the second verse travels the variation with soprano solo, which then develops into large climax. The entire choir ends up mysteriously like taking-off into the sky in the calm morning.
