Product Description

This arrangement for women's voices (SSA) was originally commissioned by the Seattle Women's Chorus. The jazzy piano accompaniment can be supplemented by additional parts (available separately) for electric guitar, electric bass and drum kit. The arrangement emphasizes the compound time swung rhythms and other features from the original Beatles version. The altos have the melody in the verses, with sopranos adding vocal color and even some shoo-bee-doo-wops. Clapping is scored in the pre-chorus, then the 1st sopranos take over the melody in their register. It's fun to sing while delivering a timeless message: "You know it's gonna be alright."
