A useful arrangement for full orchestra or Concert Band or a mixed ensemble with flexible instrumentation: Woodwind, Brass, Piano or Organ, Percussion, and Strings. Parts for Concert Band included. Horns in F and Eb included. The original tune (MACCABAEUS) was composed by George Fredrick Handel in 1747 and is especially appropriate for Easter. The Descant part can be played on Flute, Clarinet, or Trumpet during the 3rd verse. This setting was designed for both Full Orchestra and Concert Band or for a small church group of various combinations and should work with a few instruments and a keyboard.
