This arrangement for string quartet has no lyrics, and of course there are no images from the music video that was No. 1 on both MTV and VH1. This can be played by good high-school students, but might be better suited to college students or older musicians. It would also be great fun toplay for a woman's 40th, 50th or 60th birthday, to celebrate a woman who has still "got it"!
The arranger,Allyson B. Wells, has a Ph.D. in music composition. Her main performance areas are singing and playing piano, but she also played cello from age 11 into her twenties. She's written music for choirs, orchestras, small ensembles, and for vocal and instrumental solos, in a variety of genres. She is a composer member of BMI.
